Dr. R.K.Pachauri, Director General TERI and Nobel Peace Laureate 2007 and Shri Kamal Nath, Union Minister of Industry and Commerce, Government of India launches Connect2Climate - mobile phone games initiaitve to raise public awareness to combat climate change on 31st May 2008 in New Delhi on eve of the World Environment Day (5th June 2008).

Connect2Climate is a joint initiaitve of ZMQ and TERI. Conceptualized by ZMQ, the initiative is designed to reach out to common man using the power of mobile technology. The initiaitve demonstrates how basic human interventions and acts can save the planet from climate change. The initiaitve is supported Philips, Reliance Communications and Intel.
